My story so far 

I began working life with an auspicious 11-year career in telecoms and banking working across different global strategic departments. This ranged from Finance to Location strategy then finally Financial Crime Compliance. Being naturally analytical I really enjoyed the problem solving, action-oriented aspects of my roles yet I did not feel satisfied. Actually, I was deeply unhappy. I needed to go my own way.

So I did! I left the UK to travel in 2016. By the time I left my health was pretty poor so much of my journey consisted of efforts to restore this; I studied Ayurveda (an ancient Indian medicine), yoga, and Buddhism as well as incorporating myself in communities focused on healing. I also volunteered on farms or retreats in Colombia, Ecuador and Spain. Additionally, I lived in Spain, India, Bali and Vietnam.

With the support of many people along my journey I gradually recovered my health as well as found a new desire to really live life. Finally, I returned to the UK in Autumn 2021. Determined to build on this new direction in life I decided the first step was to ground in beautiful Brighton on the south coast of the UK, which has a vibrant community of souls similarly interested in nature and genuine connections.

Wanting to share my personal journey along with the insights I gained I decided to write my first book, due to be published in September 2022. Nowadays I am mentoring as well as getting involved in different projects, including L22c.
