Stuart Rogers

My story so far 

My name is Stuart, a sixty something married father of one. These days I mostly help UK charities maximise their impact. Before that, mainly a corporate existence. My values define me, and I try to work with a smile on my face.

It delights me that a small tour company in Gambia, incubated and supported over the years, is today thriving, creating employment and giving back to local schools.

I have witnessed start-ups, cottage industries and some of the most incredible “work from home” models you will ever see, from loom carpet weaving (India), garden-based restaurants (Sri Lanka), cooking classes (Thailand) and basket weaving (Vietnam). I have been fortunate to work voluntarily in Bosnia, Croatia and Slovenia repatriating refugees and raising money for university education. I have an interest in Bulgaria too. All of this has been fantastic learning, and I love to learn about new ways to do things.

Relatively new to L22c, I hope to learn and add value where I can, bringing what I don’t know!
