Esther Lydia Akol

My story so far 

I'm Esther Lydia Akol, an Amazing mother to Elishama Evans. I'm an African young Woman with a dream and passion, Zeal to support My community strive. I was born in an Extended family in a small village called Koloin in Ngora District from Eastern Uganda.

I'm Currently Volunteering in Supporting Communities from Western Uganda in Kiryandongo Refugee settlement to improve on their Livelihoods, Water Sustainability, Sanitation and Hygiene Improvement through Engaging Women groups and Children from Different Cultures and Origins to work together as One.

I have previously Volunteered with Uganda Red Cross Society being part of (NDRT) National Disaster Response Team in Epidemic Control of Cholera and Ebola in Kyangwali Refugee Settlement. I also volunteered with a number of NGOs in Uganda in Disaster and Emergency Response in areas of Child Protection, Psycho - Social Support and Community Engagement and Accountability.

I have passion and a dream of supporting Children, Women,Youth within My reach to realize their Potential through Engaging them in Agricultural Activities which In turn boosts one's Livelihood.
