Owen Richards

My story so far 

I am from Geelong, Victoria, and enjoyed painting, drawing, and building things as a child. I built my first computer (a Pentium 386) and pursued a career in environmental engineering after initially wanting to be a graphic designer.

I have significant experience in various engineering fields however specialise in integrated water cycle management (IWCM). I have received multiple stormwater awards for my methodology and approach to projects. My approach to projects has also saved clients many millions of dollars. I founded my own engineering business, but went broke in 2018 before regaining executive positions in consultancies and then founding Blue-Green Infrastructure, which holds my second patented invention. Under my position as an adjunct professor, I enjoy teaching others, both experienced professionals and the next generation/s.

I love learning from others globally and want to contribute more internationally. My beautiful Chinese wife Marion has made me the better man who I am today. I live for my family, Marion and my two boys Ethan and Arthur who’s presence in my life kept me on this earth during my darkest times.
