The Stories so Far
We believe there is a simpler way to engage the in-born creativity of young minds. Offering a choice to replace the hand held phone with mini books of mighty questions. Interconnecting listening, learning, reading and writing (the four core skills) amongst young learners.
These book creates a free environment for curious young learners to explore together these skills through joyful conversation. Dissolving boundaries by merging senses with emotion and curiosity.
The pilot project began to improve children's conversational skills, worsened by the pandemic. Initially, the "passport" book was created and tested in schools, with feedback refining its content. The project emphasized a collective effort, leveraging various members' expertise to maintain momentum and ensure success in the marketplace.
Why
Because a society with superficial connections needs authentic engagement as priority
The project's primary motivation is to improve children's conversational skills, significantly impacted by the pandemic, by providing resources for better language expression. Commitments involve a collective effort from the l22c group, with regular meetings and continuous involvement to ensure the project's growth.
Key members, including Neena Arakal Mathew, are committed to leading the project into its commercial phase. Obligations include practical tasks like marketing, sales, and management for the book's launch.
Members must align with l22c philosophies, take on specific responsibilities, and support each other to achieve the project's goals effectively.
What
Books of unanswerable questions that provoke balancing communications among all generations
The key players in the project include Neena Arakal Mathew, who leads development, David Hollands overseeing progression and commercialisation, and John Savage, who provides strategic support.
Other L22c Licencees may assist with commercial aspects. The main product is the "passport" book, designed to enhance children's conversational skills and language proficiency. Additional products include a series of "passport to anything" books, fostering learning across various subjects.
Publications encompass the learning, reading, writing books aimed at different educational stages, primarily for primary school children, along with digital content like web pages and presentations to support and expand access.
How
No phone! Let small books support discovering what you don’t know
The project tasks include creating and refining the "passport" book to enhance children's conversational skills, along with marketing, sales, and management for its commercial launch. Solutions focus on addressing the decline in children's language abilities by facilitating open conversations and developing a series of "passport to anything" books to foster learning across various subjects.
Methods involve collaborative development within the l22c group, regular meetings, and real-world testing in schools. Feedback is used for continuous improvement.
The project also employs a structured approach to commercialization, forming a company structure, and leveraging community support and expertise.
Visions
Learning about life by igniting the genius capacity of every individual
The project's mission is to improve children's conversational skills, significantly impacted by the pandemic, by helping them express themselves freely in any language and fostering a global learning community.
The primary targets are children, especially those struggling with extended conversations, and the educational sector, including schools and teachers. The project demands a collective effort from the l22c group, focusing on marketing, sales, and management for the book's commercial launch.
It requires structured leadership, clear responsibilities, and robust support systems to maintain momentum and achieve success in the marketplace.
